Performs all basic functions of a Radiation Therapist and Advanced Radiation Therapist. Oversee daily staff scheduling, also adherence to policies and quality review, participates in performance review process, chart rounds, billing audits, assists in cross-coverage at all facilities, and orientation of new therapists. Promotes positive and professional growth among Radiation Therapists through leadership and mentoring. Clinical supervision and mentoring of Radiation Therapy students. Takes responsibility for patient care/flow through simulation and treatment areas. Establishes, reviews, and revises treatment schedule and procedures. Clinical competency requirements may vary by site, based on equipment and procedures being performed (ie.Total Body Irradiation, Total Skin Electron, Pediatrics, CT Simulation equipment and Linac Based SBRT/SRS). Excellent knowledge of radiation treatment, radiation safety principles and demonstrated understanding of treatment plans (isodose plans).

3 plus years of experience RT:T - Radiation Therapist - Registered Graduate of CAHEA accredited radiation therapy program. Current ARRT. Current Ohio License in Radiation Therapy (Ohio Department of Health)
