Overview

Atss is looking for a Program Manager for a client in Louisiana 

Duties

Interfacing with US Navy personnel on various aspects of the MCM USV program such as contract compliance, logistic support, trials, public affairs, recommended improvements, etc.
Supervising the program management staff in ensuring program implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives
Coordinating and scheduling all aspects of assigned projects among the various disciplines (e.g. engineering, procurement, accounting, subcontractors)
Experience

5 years of experience in a shipbuilding, engineering, or related manufacturing field setting 
Computer Skills

Proficient in using MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point)
Other Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding leader and motivator
Strong human relations and management skills
Sound understanding of Contract Law and/or FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
 

Preferences

Bachelors’ of Science degree in Business, Accounting, or Engineering
Previous supervisory experience
US Navy or other military branch new construction and maintenance programs, purchasing, acquisitions, and/or contracting experience
