Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) Teacher

Questar lll BOCES announces a vacancy for a full-time classroom and clinical instructor for the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program located at our Rensselaer Education Center in Troy, NY.   This position will provide classroom and clinical instruction for the high-school CNA students.  Selected candidate will keep accurate records of daily attendance and student progress, assist students individually and in groups with lesson assignments to reinforce learning concepts, integrate technology throughout the curriculum, and administer exams/assessments to evaluate student progress and achievement. Proper NYS Registered Nurse (R.N.) license required. Candidates must possess or be willing to pursue a NYS teaching certification through the Transitional Certification process in Nurse’s Assisting.  Candidates with a background in nursing are encouraged to apply. Preferred candidates will have three years RN experience and experience working in Long Term Care.
