ENGINEER II Seneca Resources Corporation, in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks an Engineer II, Production. Job responsibilities include: performing daily surveillance and evaluation of producing wells to ensure performance; planning and evaluating production profiles, optimizing fluid removal using artificial lift and other well operations to optimize performance; writing procedures and cost justifications for approved optimization, well intervention planning and evaluation, and other remedial projects; providing engineering support for field operations; identifying and documenting best practices for production of horizontal gas wells; identifying underperforming wells/areas and recommending appropriate action for optimized performance; responding to field personnel needs to maximize well production and minimize downtime; working with Midstream groups and Facilities personnel to ensure all facilities are designed and constructed to best suit production needs; performing trend analyses, and preparing forecasts and budgets as needed; communicating with partners regarding operational issues and third party tie-ins; and ensuring all regulatory, environmental and safety compliance requirements are met. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering, plus four years of experience as a petroleum engineer. Experience must include performing well surveillance and production monitoring, planning and designing artificial lift applications, evaluating and calculating return on investment to rank project importance to payout, and using well modeling and well performance applications (CMG, or similar reservoir modeling software, Fekete Fast or similar RTA evaluation software, and Aries, or similar decline and economic analysis tool).
