Job Summary and Qualifications

The Laboratory Phlebotomist performs collections of blood samples and specimens efficiently and appropriately following hospital and department standards and policies. Under the supervision of a Medical Technologist, the Phlebotomist may also perform routine technical functions, CLIA waived analyses and quality control. What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Phlebotomist training certificate required
  • Louisiana state license preferred but not required
  • Graduation from an approved phlebotomy training program or 6 months work experience as a phlebotomist
  • Work schedule:  Full-time - Night shift(7:00 pm-7:00 am) w/rotating weekends and holidays

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
