Marketing Associate Richmond, VA The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a Marketing Associate to assist in day-to-day projects to support the Marketing and Communications Division. This position will be responsible for assisting team members in executing a variety of projects including but not limited to administrative functions, event logistics, basic graphic design, and internal and external stakeholder communications. The Marketing Associate must have administrative support experience, including drafting, proofing and editing correspondence, scheduling, and meeting planning logistics. The applicant must be able to prioritize work and effectively manage multiple projects; communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of employees; work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-discipline team environment; work well under pressure in meeting deadlines; exhibit sound judgment in making decisions; and maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters. Experience in project management is required and experience with creative development is preferred. Post-secondary education in business administration, advertising, marketing, communications or related fields, and/or professional certifications are preferred. Salary minimum: $35,000.
