Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician International Manufacturing Company seeks applicants for the position of Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician for third shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong Analytical Chemistry background. Position is “hands on”; meaning that you will also be performing routine and special testing as needed. Good problem solving skills are a must for this position. Experience and Skills •Associate Degree in Chemistry preferred. Minimum High School Diploma with Laboratory experience •Strong instrumentation background including: •GC/FID •HPLC •Karl Fischer •Automatic titrators •Good Microsoft Office Skills •Excellent communication skills - inclu-ding professional presentation of results and conclusions Detailed Responsibilities • Responsible for day to day testing • Responsible for the integrity of lab test methods and data, as well as, lab practices • Capacity and timelines to ensure the adequate throughput and prioritization in the labs • Troubleshoot logistical and technical problems as they arise in the lab • Function as a resource to support process and method improvement initiatives • Have experience with maintaining and instituting laboratory safety practices Please e-mail resumes to hrppi@perstorp.com
