Experienced Manager

DOC'S Ice Cream & Coffee New Boston, MI now seeking an Experienced Manager. Lead a team of enthusiastic ice cream scoopers and coffee brewers in quaint, historic downtown New Boston, MI.

AS A MANAGER AT DOC’S, YOU ARE ASKED TO: • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by role modeling the practices of friendly, timely service and proper product handling for the coffee and ice cream • Maintain the daily operations for the team and shift, including store and team member appearance, guest service, cleanliness, and compliance with all safety and operating standards • Perform nightly closing duties • Recruit, train, and supervise all team members • Prepare weekly work schedules and manage absences and suitable replacements • Manage inventory • Resolve guest concerns with food quality and customer service • Manage menu items based on guests’' preferences and feedback • Identify strategies to retain and attract customers • Ensure café expenses are within budget and identify ways to decrease operational costs

THIS IS A CAREER PATH IN GOURMET RETAIL FOOD SERVICE IF: • You have a high school degree/GED, or better, if you have a certificate or degree in Business Administration/Management or related education • You have a proven track record in the foodservice/retail/hospitality industry along with business acumen, excellent management and communication skills • You are/are willing to be Serve Safe qualified • You are someone who is dependable, organized, proactive and are available to work a flexible work schedule
