Under direction of the Chair of Physics & Engineering Physics, the Laboratory Supervisor I (1) assists in the development, testing, maintenance, repair, and set up of lab apparatus in selected teaching laboratory courses; (2) works closely with teaching faculty to ensure the smooth operation of lab courses; (3) supports multidisciplinary research and education in the Tulane Micro/Nanofabrication Facilities (cleanrooms) including equipment maintenance and support, ensuring facility safety, mentoring and training users, and supporting users and other staff in other ways as needed; (4) other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.
