Job Responsibilities

  • Follow your route dispatch and complete all end of day documentation / check-out process.
  • The Delivery driver will off-load materials at each stop.
  • Comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements.
  • REPORT all incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage to Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Notify Warehouse Supervisor of any problems that may arise on the route.

 

Job Requirements

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass background, drug test and MVR check
  • Medical DOT Card
  • Previous experience driving a school bus or delivery vehicle required
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Outstanding customer service and Excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time appropriately to meet deadlines
