Maintenance/Machinist

Pay: $22.00+ DOE

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Hillsboro, OR

Job Description: 

• Sets and operates variety of machines and tools
• Assembles parts to fabricate or repair machine
• Provide support in production department to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Participate in process improvement activities
• Maintains safe and clean working environment

Requirements:

• Strong organization and follow up skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Quality orientation and attention to detail
• Related degree from technical college or three or more years’ experience in maintenance field in lieu of degree
• Experience operating a variety of equipment and machine
• Able to use the MIG and TIG Welders
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
