Neighborhood Revitalization Planner

The Tulsa Planning Office at INCOG is seeking qualified applicants for a Neighborhood Revitalization Planner position in the Planning and Design Division. The position will be primarily responsible for providing professional planning services within the City of Tulsa to facilitate the revitalization of neighborhoods and coordinate implementation efforts.

The position requires technical knowledge of federal grant programs including CDBG and HOME and must be familiar with federal, state and local regulations. The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage complex and diverse relationships with the public and other partners and exhibit empathy and cultural sensitivity when working with a diverse set of perspectives and experiences; ability to identify housing and community development needs and develop plans; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing; and must have experience with neighborhood revitalization strategies and tools.

Minimum qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years experience in urban planning required, specifically in community development, housing initiatives, public engagement and/or other neighborhood focused activities. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in urban planning or related field is required. Annual salary range starting at $47,159, although specific compensation based on candidate's qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
