UH is seeking a Practice Supervisor for University Hospitals Cutler Center for Men Ahuja location. UH Cutler Center for Men delivers a holistic, innovative approach to providing complete patient navigation throughout the patient’s care journey by being a single resource, providing high touch expertise from the intake, to the scheduling to the follow-up, for the purpose of maximizing access and care and ensuring each patient has a tailored approach to their healthcare, lifestyle and behavioral needs. This role is dedicated to the staff and patient/family in order to improve the customer experience, and to engage and retain them as patients of the UH and as a member of the UH Cutler Center for Men.

This Practice Supervisor role is the operational point person on site for the Urology Institute, Primary Care Institute and other specialty providers. This leader will coordinate front and back office staff (clinical and non-clinical caregiver roles), ensure high touch customer service to customers, quality care delivery, operational efficiency, and build and maintain strong relationships. The clinical suite is a brand new innovative design space with no traditional setup. This is a unique role in a visionary program, the ideal candidate should be flexible, innovative, and comfortable in a start-up culture. ·         Keep all the operational balls in the air, juggling schedules and records and ensuring UH Cutler Center for Men runs smoothly.

Education:
HS Diploma or GED required;
BS/BA degree preferred.

Experience & Knowledge:
Min. of 5 years of healthcare experience, including physician practice leadership and 5+ years of clinical operations experience.  
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; relate effectively with a wide variety of people; able to prioritize, delegate and follow-up; computer literate with word processing and spreadsheet knowledge, with strong technical skills; prefer medical terminology; an understanding of third party reimbursement requirements; and CPT and ICD-10 coding.
