PROCUREMENT & PAYABLES Procurement & Payables Undergraduate Interns Learning Objectives (2) The Procurement & Payable Interns will support the development & deployment of Category Management and Strategic Sourcing for key commodities, act as a specialist supporting King County initiatives for Harborview, & assist King County in achieving its Equity & Social Justice goals. Examples of tasks include: researching market trends to identify innovative commodity solutions, enable leadership decision making using data analytics, support key activities for the implementation of Category Management & Strategic Sourcing, engage with stakeholders to develop contracting requirements & place Purchase Orders with suppliers, and provide general contracting support.

Other Position Information: These positions are overtime-eligible. Our employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, normally between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. These internships will be working from 20 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week, depending on assignment area and school schedule. These positions are not represented by a union.
