Fiberglass Technician

Local manufacturing company has full-time openings for fiberglass techs. Benefits discussed at time of interview. If you possess the following requirements, please submit your resume to the address listed below.

Requirements:

• Understanding of resin, glass, catalyst, mold releases and related materials and adjusting for changing climatic conditions
• Fiberglass fabrication and repair (both structural and cosmetic) Refurbishes all fiberglass products (including gel-coating, sanding, buffing, polishing, waxing, etc.)
• Experience with crating, packaging, moving or similar background (e.g. carpentry, construction, manufacturing)
• Proficient with basic math and able to read a tape measure accurately
• Responsible for all operations performed at the assigned work station
• Prepare material for machining as necessary
• Set-up for designated operation in accordance with shop set-up instructions
• Monitor machine operations, basic inspection of parts being produced, immediately respond to developing problems to preserve machine and part integrity
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to lift 60 lbs., climb stairs and move equipment as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
