Job Description | Maintain a high level of cleanliness and order in the university center by performing a variety of cleaning tasks and meeting room set-ups. Strive to achieve perfection in supporting student activities and programs, meetings, and special events. Provide high-level customer service and uphold Webb Center staff’s work values. |

Knowledge, skills and abilities | Some knowledge of institutional cleaning methods and equipment operation. Ability to cooperate with co-workers and customers. Demonstrated ability to properly operate a variety of housekeeping cleaning equipment which may include, but not be limited to floor polishers, vacuums, shampoo machines, wet/dry vacuums, floor burnisher and auto scrubber machines. Demonstrated ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Demonstrated ability to read and write the English language and to understand and follow oral instructions. |

Education or training | Basic housekeeping training in the use of equipment and chemicals. |

Conditions of Employment | This position is considered essential personnel and may be required to work during inclement conditions and holidays when the university is closed. Employee is required to work Sunday – Thursday nights, 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. You will receive a night shift differential pay stipend of $1.00 per hour. This stipend will cease should you change to a different shift or another position. This is an open until filled recruitment. This recruitment may close after the five-day required posting period when a suitable pool of applicants has been generated. |
