Jensen Transport is looking to hire a AR/AP Specialist to join our team!

Requirements:

• 3 – 5 years experience in an AR/AP role preferred
• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar experience preferred
• Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
• Microsoft Excel experience necessary

Duties:

• Continually review and process for payment outstanding transactions.
• Record adjusting journal entries.
• Review and analyze general ledger accounts.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements.
• Code banking and credit card transactions.
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payroll tax and payroll reports.
• Perform general bookkeeping duties.
• Support on boarding of new employees and follow up of annual safety compliance items.
• Support ongoing driver needs (explaining reading the paycheck) and driver needs like updating and scheduling license renewals, physicals, windshield replacements and other questions.
• Miscellaneous tasks to enhance workflow and support other roles.
• Support increasing employee recognition, creating and enhancing employee and business goals.
• Continuous improvement of all parts of the businesses. 
• Support business operations in any way possible.
