Western Governors University located in SLC, UT seeks Director, Business Intelligence. Requirements include bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or closely related field and 8 years experience in any occupation involving architecting, designing and implementing BI and data warehousing solutions.

Also required: 4 years experience in a BI reporting system, such as Cognos, Tableau, BusinessObjects or APEX; 4 years experience with data modeling, ETL and complex SQL development, using tools, such as but not limited to, Talend, Informatica, Oracle sql and shell scripting; 4 years setting up (installing, configuring), managing and upgrading or administrating BI application servers, planning for future growth and scaling of servers and supporting infrastructure for BI application servers; 4 years experience troubleshooting BI server errors and maintenance issues, providing Level 2 technical support for users' issues; 4 years experience with Agile development and Sprint planning using JIRA application processes, managing and coordinating work procedures and outcomes with offshore teams; 3 years experience creating and providing training for business and technical users for different BI application tools at basic, intermediate and advanced levels; 2 years experience in Big data (parallel, elastic processing) expertise using AWS Cloud environment, Providing solution architecture for data integrations of SalesForce into Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW); 2 years experience higher education Student Information System experience with Banner platform, Data acquisition of digital learning resources into EDW; 2 years experience with survey methodology, sampling and application management, Basic inferential and descriptive statistics; and 1 year experience using Databricks - Apache Spark technology; Python, Scala and R.
