Electrical Specialist Premier Magnesia, LLC Gabbs, Nevada Premier provides a competitive benefits package, along with support from senior management, and the opportunity to work at a historic mine bringing it into the 21st century.

Responsibilities:

Motivate and supervise electrician staff in direct reporting relationship with electrical supervisor to accomplish electrical goals in a safe, efficient, cost effective manner. Apply project management proficiencies to ensure that cost and safety objectives are met in a timely manner. Responsible for the completion of assigned capital projects, working with maintenance on shutdown projects, and weekly electrical schedules in accordance with established electrical procedures, standards and policies. Provide technical support based on established industry and electrical standards. Provide guidance and direction to act in accordance with MSHA, EPA, HSE, NFPA standards and regulations and any other to which we prescribe including but not limited to Quality Program, HAACP, AFIA. Identify, conduct, and participate in Continuous Improvement activities through completion. Participate in RCA's on major failures, and RCM's on fixed plant equipment. Inspect jobs for efficiency of completeness, analyze planned vs. actual and implement improvements. Approach electrical maintenance tasks with a reliability mindset. Will be required to work as an electrician during vacations, holidays, call outs, or whenever necessary. Also, some duties may include mechanical work if assigned and skilled.

Qualifications:

Qualified Journeyman Electrician with related work history of 4 years or more Minimum of 1 year of proven Leadership/Supervisory experience Minimum of 3 years in a mining and processing environment Experience in a Union setting Working knowledge of a formal planning and scheduling electrical work as it relates to the maintenance process Working knowledge of electrical best practices Working knowledge of preventive and predictive reliability practices Ability to identify and control hazardous conditions CMMS experience a plus, particularly E-Maintenance Electrical experience with various feed systems, i.e. belt conveyors, screw conveyors, pan feeders, bucket elevators, and pneumatic feeders. Electrical experience with various crushing systems, i.e. gyratory, tertiary, jaw, and impact crushers. Electrical experience with burner and Herreshoff furnaces a plus.

Following that need being met, the same mine has provided Magnesium Oxide for various private entities without a single shut down.
