Altoona Area School District Head High School Boys’ Basketball Coach PA teaching certification preferred; Must possess knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures, knowledge of PIAA rules and regulations, strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Coach must have high energy and a positive attitude with a responsibility to effectively run a 6A boys’ basketball program, from grades K-12. Head basketball coaching experience at the high school level or above is preferred and a minimum of five years coaching basketball.
