Electric Maintenance Manager - Public Utilities $107,265.60 - $129,937.60 

General Description

Under the direction of the Electric Operations Integrity Manager, or Assigned Manager directs the daily operations of the Electric Transmission and Generation unit. Responsibilities include managing the maintenance and repair of all substations, generation and transmission assets, equipment and infrastructure; planning and budgeting for all transmission and generation work; handling customer interfaces regarding transmission and generation; reporting to regulatory agencies and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:

Oversees the daily work of electric operations mechanics to provide timely, quality maintenance and repair of the electric transmission, substation, and generation assets and facilities. Troubleshoots system and equipment problems to determine the best course of action.

Sets quality and productivity standards for assigned mechanics and reviews completed work to ensure standards are met.

Works with engineering to design system changes and coordinates projects with contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal and external customers. Ensures customer focused communications to minimize the impact of outages on customers.
