The Life of an HCA Nurse

Clinic nurses are in a unique position to make a difference. They aid patients from the moment they enter the clinic by collecting patient information, supporting patient evaluation, administering treatments and medications as needed, and educating patients.

About the Cancer Center:

• Provide compassionate care & therapy to breast cancer patients in an outpatient setting
• Great schedule and desirable shifts - Work Mon-Fri, 8am - 4:30pm, no holidays

Responsibilities:

• Under the general direction of the Director, Manager or Nurse Manager,  Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. 

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing    
• Current Louisiana or Multistate license required
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained
• ONS and OCN Certification required within 1 year 
• Prior experience in an Oncology setting
