Educator/Administrator

The Riverdale Borough School District is searching for an experienced and collaborative educator/administrator ready to serve as its next leader. The Riverdale Borough School District educates approximately 300 students Pre-K grade 8, with Pompton Lakes receiving our high school students. The school district has an operating budget of $10MM.Qualifications NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required Experience in administration preferred Classroom teaching experience preferred Sending-receiving and secondary experience preferred.

The successful candidate shall demonstrate expertise in: Communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with the staff and community Personnel management, professional development, and evaluations Developing referenda for facilities upgrades and expansionFinancial management, including grants and generating alternate revenue sources Strategic and long-range planning.
