Position Purpose | Serves as the primary leader, to plan, direct, and implement goals and initiatives that continuously elevates the overall brand and storytelling related to strategic communications, media relations, and public relations for the Dartmouth College Athletics and Recreation Department (DCARD). To lead and manage all day-to-day operations of the strategic content office in ongoing innovation and advancement of the industry. Serve as the chief storyteller of the department while overseeing all publications and web sites relating to Dartmouth’s 35 varsity sports. A successful candidate will also serve as the primary liaison with the college’s communications office while coordinating all media relations (print, electronic, and web-based); managing home contest media services and press areas; serving as principal editor and writer for the department; and maintains all historical records pertaining to the performance of Dartmouth varsity teams and athletes. |
