Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Pass physical agility test
• High school diploma or GED
• Longevity Pay
• Gun Club Membership
• Two-Year Drop Pension Option
• Act 120 Certified or completed Act 120 Training and be eligible for certification
• Within one year of appointment, must reside within 10 air miles of the police station

Requirements Continued

• Completed at least 60 college credits, or 2,080 hours experience as a police officer, or completed 2 years of military service with an honorable discharge
• Be a U.S. Citizen
