RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is currently seeking full-time General Surgeons for employment with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. This is an opportunity for driven and ambitious Physicians to join a growing practice and assist in the development of a high-quality surgical program.

In cooperation with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the medical school's principal affiliate, they comprise New Jersey's premier academic medical center. In addition, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School has 34 other hospital affiliates and ambulatory care sites throughout the region.

New faculty members will have the chance to manage and build upon a thriving academic department at an involved and growing practice, providing treatment and services to numerous patients each year. The General Surgeon will have the opportunity to grow their own practice and develop their personal skillset. They will perform procedures such as Advanced Laparoscopic MIS surgery, alongside a team of well-seasoned and talented General Surgeons.

Position Requirements:
  • Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
  • Must be NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
