Job Summary: | Empire Innovation Scholar Position as a Clinical/translational investigator with proven skills in conducting original research; strong history of extramural funding with the expectation of continued funding; demonstrated skills in collaborative research across disciplines; publications in peer-reviewed journals. The successful candidate will join a thriving Biology of Aging and Neuroscience community of over 40 investigators with strengths in mechanism of proteostasis, age-related neurodegenerative disease, neuropsychiatric disorders and other AD/ADRD-related research, supported by state-of-the-art genomics and proteomics facilities. As a founding researcher in the Nappi Longevity Institute, the successful candidate will assist in the growth and development of an active and competitive institute for research in the areas of Alzheimers disease and related dementias. Will carry the title of Assistant, Associate or Professor of Empire Innovation (rank dependent upon qualifications) |

Minimum Qualifications: |
MD or MD/PhD in the appropriate area of discipline/specialty, with a strong record of funding and publications |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Evaluate scientific information and new ideas to assist in identifying new research opportunities and funding. Leadership skills in working with colleagues to build a clinical research program. |
