Specialist, Full-Time

The Cole County Health Department has an opening for a full-time Environmental Public Health Specialist. This position will be primarily responsible for enforcement of the Cole County Ordinances.  The duties include, but are not limited to, on-site waste water permitting and inspection, code enforcement, childcare, retail food, lodging and code enforcement inspections. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited four year college/university w/ a minimum of 30 credit hours in science courses.  The ideal candidate will also possess a Missouri Registered Environmental Health Specialist Certificate or national certification and have professional experience in environmental public health.
