Join our team of competent and compassionate IS professionals as a Junior IS Analyst in the Information Technology department at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and advanced skills will support the IS department and teams with the following:

  • Monitors and maintains automated tasks using Microsoft Power Automate
  • Triages help desk tickets for the IS Data warehouse team
  • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer systems in a team environment by performing the following duties.
  • Performs day-to-day end user support, database/system maintenance, trouble shooting and enhancement of installed MS-SQL Server and proprietary processing systems.
  • Analyzes the needs of all departments and works with the IS team to establish priorities for, and systems design and implementation of, MS-SQL Server, Reporting Services (SSRS), Pentaho, Power BI projects, Power Automate, and other programming tools.
  • Performs database management, client data imports/exports, analysis and reporting, financial data management and data merge/purge.
  • Understands and performs data transfer process (ETL).
  • Researches data discrepancies, and works within the IT/IS department as well as other departments to review and resolve system problems.
  • May work with vendor-side support personnel on implementations, upgrades, patches, and application support.
  • Works with Business Analysists to collect and define requirements and translate those requirements into applications/reports/solutions that add value to the business

Qualifications/Requirements

What are we looking for in a Jr IS Analyst?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related degree area and 1-2 years of experience or training or equivalent combination of education and
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop
  • Basic skillset with MS SQL Server
  • Basic skillset with T_SQL queries
  • Experience with Python scripting or another programming language
  • Knowledge of report development and standardization
  • Understanding of relational database(s) design
  • Basic HTML/CSS experience
  • Basic knowledge of new Microsoft tools, such as Power Flow, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint
  • Effective organizational, communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Is able to convey and respond to oral and written information effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours, including evenings, and/or weekends as required
  • Desire to grow into a higher-level Informational System Analyst role
