Job Summary: This position is specific to the Spring 2023 semester, but may be considered for continuation into future semesters. The Clinical Instructor will provide in-person clinical instruction, supervision and guidance for associate degree (pre-licensure) registered nursing students in patient care experiences at Upstate. The Clinical Instructor is also responsible for required student assignments, reporting, administrative activities, and student evaluation. Additional activities include collaboration with didactic faculty and program leadership as well as working with student recruitment and retention for the RN to BS program as appropriate. Clinical rotations occur on Upstate campuses two full days a week, with reporting and evaluation requirements to be completed on a flexible schedule either on or off campus. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an institution of higher education accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency, active and unencumbered NYS RN license, minimum 1 year current clinical nursing experience, ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, clinical staff, and students

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree, prior experience in nursing education or student clinical supervision, clinical or didactic faculty experience

Work Days:

Varies based on semester
