Position Summary Information

Position Summary
The Department of Leadership and Organizational Administration is seeking a part-time, temporary, adjunct instructor to teach the online graduate-level course LDSP 5420 Applied Project Management. This course uses a variety of project examples, analogies, artifacts, and terminology to solidify understanding of how to answer behavioral, interpersonal, situational, and technical Project Management Institute (PMI) exam questions and hiring manager interview questions.

This course fulfills PMI’s requirement for 35 contact hours of project management specific education. Students who complete the Project Management Graduate Certificate will achieve several learning outcomes:
- Prepare and apply for the PMI PMP®/CAPM® Exam using key concepts, terms, formulas, and proven exam-taking skills;
- Effectively apply information from the PMBOK® Guide to simulated projects;
- Utilize proven project and general management methodologies on projects in various environments/industries.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach LDSP 5420 Applied Project Management.

Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate in Leadership, Project Management, or related areas;
- Certification in Project Management;
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
