Reporting to the Director of Network Services, the Network Engineer provides technical and operational support for all wired and wireless networks across the Middle Tennessee State University campus. Head Coach - Women's Golf Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Direct, organize and administer a Division 1 Women's golf program. Duties include coaching, recruiting, scheduling, scouting, team travel plans, part time teaching and budgeting funds. Advisor - Media and Entertainment Murfreesboro, Tennessee
This position will have a particular emphasis on working with students to increase retention and completion rates through academic advising programming and initiatives. Advisors will work with the following groups of students: Traditional Students, Prescribed Students, Undeclared Students and Transfer Students. Advisors will work with students from the point of matriculation to graduation. The primary role of a traditional advisor is to provide educational guidance and assistance for students by planning schedules, recommending courses and determining appropriate education solutions for different types of students. The advisor will monitor student progression and intervene as necessary to ensure students stay on track for graduation. The advisor is responsible for the retention of the students assigned to them and will have regular contact with the students to ensure they are aware of available interventions that could help the student succeed. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records using internal student tracking software to support the retention strategies and evaluate student progress and satisfaction. Project Coordinator - Prevention Science/Recovery Support Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Middle Tennessee State University’s Center for Health and Human Services, in partnership with the MTSU Data Science Institute, formed an Office of Prevention Science and Recovery (OPSR) in 2023 for purposes of addressing the opioid epidemic through strategic and coordinated efforts at the local level in response to and working collaboratively with the Rutherford County Opioid Board (RCOB). The OPSR is adding a new position with funding from the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council (TOAC) to provide project coordination for two recovery-focused projects funded by the TOAC. The Recovery Support Project Coordinator will be responsible for working under the direction of the CHHS Director and the CHHS Senior Statewide Senior Project Coordinator - OPSR and in consultation with the CHHS pre- and post-grants coordinator and other OPSR staff. This position will coordinate local opioid use disorder (OUD) activities of the OPSR specific to Hustle Recovery Respite Housing and Capacity Building/Residential Aftercare projects.
Coordinator - Basketball Relations Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Coordinator of Women's Basketball Relations and Player Development will work directly with the Head Coach to develop a quality NCAA Division I Women's Basketball program. The position will assist the Head Women's Basketball coach organize and administer all aspects of our NCAA Division I women's basketball program by providing day to day coaching of student athletes at practice and games, develop and instruct individual skill instruction and recruit academically sound and competitive student athletes.*Essential tasks will include but not be limited to: oversight of day to day correspondence with university officials, oversight of daily on going recruiting activities, community outreach and community service projects and NCAA Life Skill programs developed for our women's basketball athletes. Senior Project Coordinator – OPSR Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Middle Tennessee State University’s Center for Health and Human Services, in partnership with the MTSU Data Science Institute, formed an Office of Prevention Science and Recovery (OPSR) in 2023 for purposes of addressing the opioid epidemic through strategic and coordinated efforts at the local level in response to and working collaboratively with the Rutherford County Opioid Board (RCOB). The OPSR is adding a second position to assist other Tennessee counties – stakeholders receiving opioid abatement funds and/or county governments - with their efforts to address the opioid epidemic. The senior statewide project coordinator is a supervisory position and will be responsible for working under the direction of the CHHS Director and in consultation with the CHHS pre- and post-grants coordinator and other OPSR staff to coordinate local opioid use disorder (OUD) activities of the OPSR in multiple Tennessee counties Desirable Related Experience: Preferred experience with grant-funded work, grant-writing and/or grant review processes, with preference given to those with experience specific to substance use disorder/opioid use disorder. Preferred experience in developing and delivering training programs for diverse stakeholders.
Assistant Athletic Trainer Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Assistant Athletic Trainer has primary responsibility to assist with the overall medical and health related care of student athletes participating in NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic teams within the University. Essential duties include but are not be limited to: assist in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, physician referral, and medical documentation of all injuries associated with assigned student athletes; communication with coaches, student athletes, parents, staff and physicians within NATA and HIPAA guidelines; maintain and observe all athletic policy and procedures in accordance with NATA regulations and remain certified to perform these duties on a daily basis. Expected to attend national NATA and Conference USA meetings and/or conventions to remain current of their field for changes that occur.
