Engineering Inspector

The Municipality of Bethel Park is seeking an Engineering Inspector. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Engineering Inspector performs technical work inspecting, monitoring, and managing the annual road repair program, storm water and sanitary sewer construction projects, land development projects, and MS4 projects; reviews sewer inspection video and logs, conducts engineering analyses, recommends repairs and locations, drafts technical specifications, and updates the Municipal GIS database. Thorough knowledge and experience with construction and techniques of civil engineering, GIS and GPS technology, and excellent communication and project management skills preferred. A minimum education equivalent to completion of two years of college in an engineering curriculum or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience conducting construction inspections. Salary range $47,000 - $55,000 commensurate with experience/qualifications. Excellent medical and retirement benefit package is provided. Municipality of Bethel Park is an EEOC employer.
