Job Description 

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible teacher for our 3-84-year-old 

pre-kindergarten class. The best candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with multiple age and ability levels during an on-campus audition. We are currently on campus but have some students working remotely so applicants should be prepared to incorporate online instruction and be able to adapt to full online instruction should that become a necessity. 

Job Requirements 

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree, preferably but not necessarily in early 

childhood or elementary education 

• Early childhood licensing preferred 

Governor French Academy is an independent preschool-grade 12 college-preparatory school. GFA is recognized by the State of Illinois as a non-graded private school; most students K-8 stay in each classroom for two years. This class is capped at 12 students but is sometimes smaller. Students have Spanish and STEAM classes with other faculty. Most of our teachers have been with us for ten years or longer.
