Job Summary | The newly established Intensive Outpatient Clinic (IOC) is an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals who collaborate and deliver exceptional patient-centered care for a targeted population identified as high risk for poor health outcomes and high utilization of healthcare services. The IOC team is comprised of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, care managers, social workers and medical assistants. Provides assistive care to patients. Facilitates the efficient delivery of patient care, supports the professional role of the licensed staff, and provides support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient. Assists with clerical functions as a multi-skilled auxiliary worker. Minimum Qualifications | Required Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Preferred Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). |
