Develop and present educational programs for outpatient chemical dependent programs. Provide direct services to outpatient chemical dependency patient. Provide individual and group therapy to program participants. Develop and implement individualized plans of care. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Assist patients with aftercare and discharge planning for community support. Ongoing participation in program development. Participate in Quality Management activities and initiatives. Graduate degree and licensure in social services discipline.

The Senior Chemical Dependency Counselor will be responsible for facilitation of an Intensive Outpatient treatment program for a diverse group of adult patients.

The candidate will hold Independent Licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or similar level of licensure in the State of Ohio. The candidate will also have specialized licensure as a Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC or CCDCIII, or similar level of licensure as a chemical dependency professional).

The candidate will have 5 years of experience working in an addictions treatment program. The candidate should have experience treating patients with co-occurring disorders (substance use/mental health disorders). The candidate must have strong assessment and diagnostic skills, and must be proficient in group therapy facilitation.

Full time with three evenings (Three days 1:00PM – 9:00PM, two days 9:00AM-5:00PM)

5 plus years of experience Certification as CCDCIIIE by Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, eligibility for licensing as LICDC.
