The Office of Performance, Strategy and Budget (PSB) is looking for a highly motivated Grants Coordinator to join the PSB Grants Team. The ideal candidate will be an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in holding themself accountable for their work, and has a passion for making a difference for the benefit of King County communities.
PSB serves as the hub of County budget development, strategic planning, performance management, and as a key implementation arm of the County Executive. The PSB Grants Team is one of several teams within PSB. The team is responsible for deploying and administering over $86 million in grants and contracts to support community recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, the team consists of four Grant Managers and a Grants Section Manager who work closely as a team. The PSB Grants Team strives to be a highly cohesive team where every member works collaboratively with others, steps in areas needing attention, supports each other, and addresses high-priority issues across the various parts of the team portfolio.
As a key member of the PSB Grants Team, the Grant Coordinator will perform a range of grant administration and monitoring functions to assist with grantmaking, grant management, and grant closeout. The position requires experience working as part of a team, strong organizational and communication skills, and keen attention to detail. Prior experience with grant management is desired but not a requirement.
Specifically, this Grant Coordinator will support the grant making process of the $25 million Resiliency Fund project. The Racism is a Public Health Crisis (RPHC) Gathering Collaborative work group leads the project, with a goal of supporting an equitable economic recovery.

The Grant Coordinator will be a full-time Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) or special duty employee. These positions are anticipated to last through June 30, 2024.
