The Team

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is the state economic development authority for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Created in 1995, VEDP collaborates with local, regional, and state partners to encourage the expansion and diversification of Virginia’s economy. VEDP works to accomplish these objectives through a variety of activities, including marketing and lead generation; business retention, expansion, and attraction; trade development; business intelligence; competitive benchmarking; site development; performance-based incentives; and talent solutions.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an experienced economic development professional to successfully promote Virginia to targeted corporate executives and consultants as the preferred location for new and expanding business facilities. 

The Virginia Office of Education Economics (VOEE) housed within the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking to expand its team of Data and Research Analysts to support a portfolio of ongoing work that includes the development and analysis of data sets to examine labor supply and demand, career pathways, skills, and other areas of interest related to understanding education and workforce. 

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a grant administrator to join its Real Estate Solutions Division. This position will work with economic development partners and the grant program manager to administer VEDP’s grant programs, including financial reporting, budget updates, payment requests and invoicing, ensuring timely coordination and review of required appropriate project documentation and managing updates to stakeholders and supporting contract management. 

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA/Developer in its Data Solutions group. Working within a team of application development professionals, the DBA/Developer owns the design, development, implementation, integrity, and support of the enterprise database architecturedatabases, and programs that support the Partnership. This position reports to our Richmond office and will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
