PRN Licensed Nuclear Technologist

Cardiology office looking for a licensed Nuclear Technician. Experience is a must.

PART-TIME ONLY.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain an active and unrestricted certification to practice nuclear medicine from a certified board
• Explain medical procedures to patients and answer any questions they have
• Follow safety procedures to protect patients and self from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients
• Monitor and watch for any unusual reactions patients may have to drugs
• Operate, maintain, and clean imaging equipment
• Maintain detailed procedure records and logs
• Follow safety and disposal radiation procedures
