Custodian Position

Dummerston School has an immediate opening for a full-time Custodian position. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and simple repair and maintenance skills; be self-motivated, upbeat, show attention to detail and enjoy working in the company of children and adults.

Responsibilities include the overall care, maintenance and operation of the school facility, including a daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule. Applicants must have the ability to work independently, use time efficiently and adapt to changing circumstances including after school programs, evening events and other public/community building uses. This position requires knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, physical stamina and water treatment certification.
