Ceramic Tile Cutter

A Ceramic Tile Cutter job description and requirements:

• Responsible for cutting porcelain, ceramic, marble, and glass tile
• Creating samples out of field tile, mosaics, pavers, etc.
• Comfortable standing on feet all day
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs multiple times a day
• Comfortable working in a wet environment; Incumbent will need to be dressed in suitable clothing
• Comfortable working in a noisy environment
• Knowledgeable in the use of power tools and equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure to the nearest 1/8 inch

Schedule:

• Shift hours: Monday thru Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Two 15 minute paid breaks
• One 30 minute unpaid lunch break
• Lunch provided daily
• Job Type: Full-time

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, sitting, bending most of the time
• Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time
• Frequently lifting 10 to 25 lbs.
• Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Seldom crawling or squatting
