Summary
Budget Rent a Car of Utah is currently hiring for our Salt Lake Valley locations. Agents assist in the completion of customer transactions while providing superior customer service, clean and ready vehicles for customers
Responsibilities
Operate the computer counter agent control system in all relevant areas efficiently, i.e. open and close rental contracts accurately, contract modification, print and update manifest etc. clean vehicles and prepare for rental, shuttle vehicles to and from other locations
Address customer inquiries, such as, explanation of charges, vehicle damages, directions, etc.
Promote and sell coverages and upgrades i.e. additional insurance
Perform a variety of general office duties such as answering phones, photocopying and maintaining a clean and professional workspace
Maintain current knowledge and adhere to the guidelines on all company policies and procedures, new training information, pricing and promotions etc.
Support a team environment by assisting other agents and/or other areas when needed
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of customer service experience
Professional communication skills
Problem resolution experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in general office equipment i.e. fax machines, calculators, photocopiers, etc.
Desired Qualifications
Car rental, truck rental or travel industry experience
Retail and sales experience
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
