The Director of LGBTQ Health and Human Services is responsible for the overall Health Services of the organization, such as advocacy, mental health, youth services, group facilitation, training & and technical assistance, event coordination, and program evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in public health, social work, or mental health-related field preferred; relevant experience may be substituted given expertise.
● Minimum of one years of Training and Technical Assistance experience
● Minimum of three years of human services experience; outreach, education, or case management experience.
● Familiarity with High Impact Prevention and other LGBTQ healthcare service provision.
● Bilingual (Spanish) plus and preferred
● Minimum of three years of management/supervisory experience
● Must be a leader, team player, and able to work effectively with a large variety of personalities and abilities
● Must be familiar with and believe in a harm-reduction philosophy
● Must be able to work flexible hours (including after-hours and weekends)
● Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and independent means of transportation for travel per program needs.
● Ability to communicate and present to the public effectively, both verbally and in writing
● Bilingual Spanish and multicultural people identifying with the LGBTQ, Latin@, or African American community are strongly encouraged to apply.

Physical Demands/Activities: Constant computer work such as typing, looking at a computer screen, long periods of sitting at a desk must be able to lift 15lbs, minimum physical effort including walking, standing, bending, and getting in and out of cars.

The HIV/HCV Young Men who have sex with Men(YMSM) Program Coordinator’s responsibilities include coordination of program activities, facilitating homegrown and evidence-based intervention sessions, and general program operations. The coordinator will integrate and oversee HIV/STI/HCV awareness, risk assessment, counseling, and testing. Provide supervision to the HIV/HCV Test Counselor
Major Activities:
· Coordinate HIV prevention and related services for Young Gay Men/YMSM of color
· Implement, recruit, and facilitate multi-session and single-session group intervention programs
· Network and coordinate programs with other agencies and schools in the community that serve youth-at-risk and/or with high HIV rates (with a primary focus on YMSM ages 16-29)
· Provide case management, including referrals, client navigation, and linkage to care
· Performs HIV risk assessments and Testing
· Complete and submit all documentation within the required timeframe-Submits counseling and testing data to the Director of Intervention Programs
· Observe and abide by HIPAA and the HIV Confidentiality Law requirements
· Provide supervision to the HIV/HCV Test Counselor
Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· At least 1-3 years of experience in community-level HIV interventions, adolescent development, and/or case management.
· Knowledge and comfort with LGBTQ, HIV/AIDS prevention education, PEP, PrEP, and sexual health issues
· Demonstrate group facilitation skills;
. Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Able to obtain HIV/HCV certification within three months of employment- Employer-provided training.
· Bilingual/Spanish speaking plus.

LGBT Advocate DV/SA will provide services and activities that assist victims of domestic and/or sexual violence in understanding the dynamics of victimization and stabilizing their lives after victimization.
Essential Functions:
LGBT DV/SA Advocate will provide immediate crisis intervention hotline counseling, assist clients in locating, securing, furnishing, moving into, and maintaining appropriate housing, and provide information and referrals for general assistance. Oversight of grant objectives and outcomes.

The Legal LGBTQ Advocate works in collaboration with law enforcement and legal systems in partnership with the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern NY (LASNNY).
Roles and Responsibilities
● Assist in the development and distribution of culturally specific Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, and Non-Binary (LGBT GNCNB), “Know Your Rights,”/Legal Services materials (with a focus on People Of Color (POC)), throughout the service area, as well as other community collaborations.
● Establishing and strengthening relationships between IOOV and the courts & justice systems
● Collaborate with community partners to provide linkages & referrals to culturally relevant services/resources.
● Conduct outreach to LGBT GNCNB POC communities regarding Legal and Civil rights.
● Conduct and coordinate services with other IOOV team members to assist clients who are victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, including, but not limited to, coordination of safe shelter, information and referral, safety planning, and legal counseling and advocacy.
● Perform other duties as assigned

LGBT Health Services Program Specialist
Program Specialist is responsible for providing direct service, assisting with training & technical assistance initiatives, event coordination, and program evaluation. This includes Black & Latin@ Gay Pride, the LGBT Student roundtable, training, and technical assistance projects, The lead on the biennial UTD LGBT POC Health Conference, and End-of-Year Program Evaluation and Comprehensive Community-Wide Pulse Check Survey.
