We are seeking a Quality Control Manager for our client, an industry leading full-line cannabis products manufacturing company based in north Los Angeles, CA.

The qualified candidate will have experience with quality assurance and quality control practices within a manufacturing environment. This will include managing a staff of quality technicians, document control, and instilling a quality culture.

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing all quality aspects of cannabis production and ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with cGMP and 21CFR111 requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations
• Provide regular reports to management regarding escalating product quality problems 
• Conduct overall reviews of Quality Assurance Program
• Ensure state of cGMP readiness for the site that ensures successful regulatory inspections
• Provide guidance with compliance and regulations across department in addition to coordinating quality, compliance and safety training to staff
• Manage quality documents such as SOP's, Batch production records, and HACCP plans
• Troubleshoot of existing systems, equipment, and processes to improve overall product quality and food safety.
• Provide quality support and guidance to staff members

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree of Science in any field required, Master of Science degree preferred.
• Experience with cGMP, 21CFR111, and 21CFR 110/117 desired
• Experience in Cannabis production environment, managing process flows and lean manufacturing
• Go getter attitude possessing the ability to work independently
• Ability to report to stakeholders and provide updates when requested
• Experience with Microsoft office

Compensation: $80-90K Plus Full Health Benefits and PTO
