RESEARCH ENGINEER for perimeter intrusion detection and security solutions company to conduct research on long-range distributed fiber-optic sensors including analyzing EDFA and SOA optical amplifiers; designing modeling and simulations to resolve heat transfer issues; performing data collection and analysis and drafting reports outlining results and recommendations. Requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field that included laboratory research experience with long-range distributed fiber-optic sensors including analyzing EDFA and SOA optical amplifiers.
