RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is currently seeking a full-time MIS and robotically trained general surgeon to serve as the Medical Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, NJ. This position presents as an ideal opportunity for an ambitious surgeon to establish a successful reputation and following in the community, with privileges at Monmouth Medical Center-Southern Campus. In addition to being exclusively credentialed at all three Southern Regional hospitals, this is also a unique chance to work with providers who have established strong ties to the community.

It is also in close proximity to the famous Jersey Shore beaches, a popular spot for surf, shopping, and exploring towns with cutting-edge residential beachside condos and local restaurants.

This Position will Include:

• Oversight of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) at Monmouth Medical Center-Southern Campus
• Development of a MIS Institute that incorporates standardized care pathways, operational policies, and quality metrics
• Chairing a robotics committee with oversite over a future MMCSC robotics program
• Robust support staff

Position Requirements:

• MIS and robotically trained
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
• Board certified in General Surgery
• 10+ years of post-fellowship clinical experience will be considered
• Advanced clinical experience is strongly preferred
• Recent clinical or educational program leadership experience is preferred
