Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 6a - 2:30p

Summary: 

Supervises one or more departments as assigned within Logistics operations throughout The Metro Health System (MHS), including Transportation Services, Patient Transport, Mail Room, inter-system courier services, transport equipment supply, Textile Services, and Asset Relocation and Disposal. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
  • 5 years of job-related experience, including experience with asset logistics and/or patient transportation in a healthcare environment.
  • Completes the Supervisor – Logistics training program within 120 days of hire.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or another related field.
  • Experience in staff supervision.
Physical Requirements:
  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
  • May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
  • Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
  • Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
  • Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
