D.M. Vickers & Associates is a local Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm in middle Georgia that provides tax, audit, bookkeeping, and financial planning services to our clients.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a staff accountant for D.M. Vickers & Assoc., you will be exposed to many different areas of public accounting. Typical job responsibilities include performing general bookkeeping, maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing budgets; preparing tax returns; and working as an audit team member on various auditing engagements. A degree in accounting is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelors Degree in Accounting is preferred. A strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Excel are also preferred. An applicant with a CPA designation (or working toward designation) is a plus.
