Job Description

Job Summary

With dyad partnership, has authority, accountability and function at the delivery system level. Oversees the continuum of care
(inpatient, outpatient, prevention and wellness) and manages for each business unit within the delivery system (hospital based,
medical groups, contracts, medical staff and other services). Provides overall direction, goal setting, and oversight to key strategic,
clinical, and operational issues facing the clinical service line (CSL), locally and across the region.

Essential Functions

• Provide vision, leadership, and direction to the clinical service line.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the clinical service line. Ensure strategic alignment with system goals; facilitate coordination, collaboration and alignment with all key stakeholders including, but not limited to, hospital group, medical group, regional partners, foundation, research and education.
• Identifies opportunities for service line growth and market capture including the development of new clinical programs and care redesign.
• Accountable for all financial, operational, clinical, and experiential aspects of the clinical service line.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork and engagement with a dedication to patient care and quality outcomes.
• Develops, implements, monitors and enforces system policies and procedures.
• Lead quality initiatives. Monitor and assess key performance metrics, including patient experience, outcomes, cost and operational efficiency.
• Ensure appropriate support and resources for leadership in the implementation of clinical service line strategy.

Basic Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Preferred Master's Degree or equivalent
• Required 10 years of relevant leadership experience
