Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC), the Federally Qualified Health Center serving Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities, is seeking multiple, full-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioners to meet the healthcare needs of our patients. EIHC is a patient-centered medical home. This position will be a member of a diverse team including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, certified medical assistants, therapists, social workers, care managers and other dedicated staff.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Preventive care for patients of all ages (newborn – geriatric)
• Acute care
• Chronic disease management
• Patient education

The ideal candidate would be willing to work some evenings and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program
• Active RN and ARNP in the state of Iowa AND
• Active board certification thru specialty organization (ex. Family Practice NP’s are certified either by AANP or ANCC)
• Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
• CPR certification
